Mark Fowler A new venture for me!

Hey all! I have recently joined a new band with several established stars in the Smooth Jazz field. Will Clark is the primary organizer, and sort of the ringleader. Jim and I played together in a short-lived, but hot cover band called The Funk Junkies. He has also got a list of credits as long as Shaq's arm. He is the one who brought me into thi… Continue

Mark Fowler So a lot of my music ain't jazz.........

...but that doesn't mean I'm not a Jazz player! I don't have many recordings of myself playing Jazz, but I plan to correct that soon. Meanwhile, I hope you'll enjoy these flights of fancy. One of my earliest gigs in LA was with a guitarist from Japan named Nobi. He wanted to do a gig at the Roxy, playing funk and Hendr… Continue

My Two Jazz Teachers Just Joined The Network!

Hello JMS Members,

I'm so excited today. Two of my most influential jazz musical mentors, Robert "Doc" Morgan and Marvin "Prof" Sparks has joined the network. I'm so proud to have had both of these gentlemen as major influences in my musical, personal, and business development. I'm just showing off. Excuse me for being excited.

Peace & Keep Swinging!
