How can I gain more fans and attract a manager/ agent. How can I do more than I am. I know there's always more to do and learn.
I have 6 self produced CDs released in Canada. I have been nominated for awards and won some.
This 6th recording I penned many of the tunes. Canada where I'm from and well known in Jazz circles won't play me. Though we have few jazz stations in Canada. So I paid a radio programer $750.00 a month to reach out to the U.S. stations and even though we didn' t start with her until December She did a great job and we did excellent. got airplay on more than 130 stations in the U.S. and the world and stayed on the top ten roster for more than four weeks at a time. I also have a killer video for one of the tracks. I have had many wonderful reviews on the album and on the video , but, no sales and without a booking in any of the cities that showed great intrest ( time being of the essence) everything just dissolved as an illusion. I apoligize one of my sons ( the actor ) just came in and spoke with me for the last 40 minutes about a film he's shooting and I needed to help him so I've lost track a bit here. i hope I got my point across.
